Capricorn (22 December - 20 January)
The Capricorn birthstone is garnet, and it's also the stone of those born on Tuesdays, the gemstone of New York, and the state mineral of Connecticut.
The largest single garnet crystal was over 2 metres across and weighed 37 tons.
Capricorns are organised, practical, hard working people who like simple food, responsibility and unconditional love. They dislike untidiness, surprises and loneliness.
